Meet the Team
Dr Pamela Hellemons
Dr Pamela Hellemons (Dr Gilmore's daughter) joined both clinics in 2000 and took over as Principal Chiropractor in 2012. She started out cleaning the clinics on a Saturday at 11 years of age, and then as a chiropractic assistant before going off to Melbourne to study Chiropractic at RMIT to follow in her fathers footsteps. Essentially she grew up living and breathing chiropractic within these two clinics.
Marianne was introduced to Chiropractic back in 1999 and wished she had explored it much earlier. After experiencing its benefits first hand, she jumped at the opportunity to start working as a Chiropractic Assistant at Manning Road Chiropractic in February 2010. Marianne enjoys how the work is varied and challenging at times but sees the patients and work colleagues as being like an extended family.
Marianne feels privileged to have worked for both Dr Ross Gilmore who used to run both the Manning Road and City practices and Dr Pamela Hellemons. Being our oldest team member, she feels having regular Chiropractic Care will enable her to work for sometime yet. And with Marianne’s friendly presence and persona both in and out of the centre, that suits us just fine.
Leah joined Manning Road/City Chiropractic Centres in July 2017. With an office background in different industries she was intrigued and excited to begin working as a Chiropractic Assistant and becoming part of a great team environment. Leah enjoys building a friendly rapport with our regular patients and assisting new patients along their Chiropractic journey.
Savannah initially began working as a Chiropractic Assistant at our clinics in 2013, after seeing Dr Hellemons as a patient herself. Working at both our Manning Road and City Chiropractic Centres made her appreciate the health sector in a new way, and greatly contributed to her choice to study a health related degree. After leaving us back in 2017 to travel and begin her Bachelor of Health Sciences degree, she has recently rejoined the team.
Outside work hours, Savannah is now in the process of completing her Health Sciences degree and hopes to undertake further study in epidemiology in the future.
